So totally forgot i can do a 5 hour trial with xbox game pass (originally bought it on steam and got it refunded thankfully before the time limit). Decided to see what a fresh install would do using a different launcher. Nope its still there.
I also tried from a different source than Steam with no luck.
Then I tried to install the game on my SATA system SSD (the other one that I put games on is an NVMe). But nope. Catastrophic failure 😞
Yeah im pretty sure who ever had a better install on a SATA drive has a bad HDD or something. If the HDD was the cause of this issue it would be a lot more widespread.
