I can get halfway through characters creation before it freezes everything. I have to shut down the entire pc. Was worried that it was my PC since the shaders took forever to load. But my pc runs BG3...

I have the same. I get about halfway through character creation, usually to about when I'm choosing a class, and then everything freezes. I just upgraded my computer. Graphics driver is updated. All other apps and overlays are disabled. Game run as administrator. But still the same issue.
