Damagen and Stagger enchantments apply to OTHER weapons

The 10% Weapon Damage enchantment and the 25% Stagger enchantment that you can put on weapon increase the values of the two other weapons for warriors, not the one you actually put it on. 

I put them on my shield, the sword and the two hander get increased damage/stagger, but not the shield.

Are the values in the inventory accurate, or is this actually calculcated correctly in the damage calculations?
