For the last couple gaming sessions, Dragon Age Veilguard has lost the most recent saved progress. For my last manual save, my character was in Arlithan Forest, standing in front of Harding to take the boat to the next area, and when I came back a day later the save was gone. The last manual and automatic saves are oddly in the exact same spot, and I've probably lost about an hours worth of progress, along with multiple manual and automatic saves. I opened a case with EA, but is anyone else encountering this problem?

I just booted up the game on PS5 to find the last two days (about 7 hours) of progress gone... I don't have a lot of time to play after work and playing tonight won't be enough to even get me back to where I was... I genuinely want to cry nowI got the latest update today, so I'm not sure if that impacted it at all. Didn't manage to check before it updated.

  I lost 60 hours, just gone, and I was in tears this morning. My back is fractured and it hurts to sit and play, and now I have to start over? I’m not sure it’s worth it 😭

I'm also having this as of today! I lost about 4 hours of play time and also the autosaves that happened before I realized I'd gone back in time had disappeared on restart as well. At this point I can't play because I feel like anything I do will be a waste of time.

Happened to me yesterday, 11/6 on PS5. Lost about 6 hours or most of my playing day. Thats horrible. Im nervous to play the game now. Ive never in my life had this happen. Saved data is outside the main games location so how can this even happen???

Yesterday I discovered that the save I created manually the evening before was gone. The temporary saves that the game creates have also disappeared. The last available save is one on November 10, 2024. That's a few hours missing. Very frustrating. I play on PS 5 and don't even dare to continue playing a game that is days old without knowing that this problem won't occur again here too

I wanted to check with anyone noticing this, what if your current manual save count? (you can see it when making a save)

  This just happened to me today. I don't know how many manual saves I have as I always just overwrite the old manual one. I am playing on PS5 and lost about 10 hours of gameplay. The only reason I knew I wasn't going mad is I checked the trophies I had gotten last night which had the correct date on them. It took me back to my last manual save from 11/17/24. I had played and made saves on 11/ 22 and on 11/ 23 with no issue, we'll until this afternoon when I booted it up and saw all that progress was gone.

  For me, none. It got rid of every save except the auto saves at the beginning when you start the game

  I manually saved 21 times (spread over three savegames, of which I always overwrote the oldest one) and was thrown back to savegame 16 by the bug. Hope this helps to fix it.
