every time i use the mirror to edit my appearance, it does not save my changes

I was having the exact same issue. What fixed it for me was creating a manual save, loading into that save, and then I was able to edit my Rook using the mirror. Definitely only a temporary fix to a bug that will hopefully be patched soon. It seems like there have been a lot of issues going around with auto save files, so make sure you’re making manual saves!
