Got soft locked during “The Labs Below” quest

Had the same/a similar issue as y'all. When I first entered the area, it was empty — after maybe half a minute of running around trying to figure out what I was meant to be doing, the cysts spawned, and I shot them before the darkspawn could... spawn (ha). Softlocked myself that way.
Upon reloading the last autosave, they all spawned immediately — cysts, darkspawn and all. Seems like a reload might be all this needs to be able to keep playing, ans it's a good thing it autosaves right before entering the area
