I can’t interact with objects

I’m not able to interact with any alters or treasure chests. I’m on part 11. Anyone have a fix?

I just bought the game and when I try to load the save file I get this error. What can I do? It's a brand new game, it's terrible that it has this bug, it makes anyone not want to play.
