Keyboard mapping problems

Why is it not possible to rebind movement to the arrow keys? This seems like an extremely basic thing, and yet it is just not possible?

      It's not just WASD/arrows that won't rebind properly, so it's way more than just the left-handed people affected. It's unbelievable that this wasn't caught before launch.
