Load error AND audio bugs
Hello everyone, I wanted to submit this bug report regarding two topics currently making the game unplayable for me.
The first one is that, when trying to load into my saves, there's a high chance I get the "load error" message and have to try with another one.
This issue isn't always present, isn't dependent on the save itself (sometimes one works, sometimes it doesn't), and I can load a "faulty" one if I pick an older working savefiles before.
Basically, I have to find a way to load the game, no matter where among the error messages, but if I pick the correct savefile after I'm "in", then it works, even if it gave me the error before.
The other bug is that the sound is inconsistent. The enemies are silent, with no roar whatsoever, more often than not the sound effects are completely muted, and it's happened almost everytime that a cutscene ends up completely silent, save for the characters' voices.
This is ruining immersion, and no tweak to the audio settings, both in-game and of my device, have brought a solution.
So far, I have:
- Checked for game files integrity through Steam
- Checked that all my drivers, both visual and audio, are up to date
- Tried different audio outputs
- Tried restarting both the game and my pc several times
- Made sure the game is running within my hardware capabilities, without overloading anything
If it is of any relevance, my game is currently on my HDD, as my SSD doesn't have enough space for it. I am however running it on a gaming laptop that has no performance issues with any other recent titles that I have played, even with harsher settings.
I hope to find a solution for both of these things soon, as this is ruining the experience and I'm definitely unable to continue gaming before this is fixed.
