The conversation is just an introduction to Lucanis. More can be triggered later in the game. It will not appear as completed in the tracker(journal) because it is not an actual quest or a side quest.
With all respect, that doesn't make sense. If "Bidding Farewell" isn't an actual side quest, why is it so key to a romance throughline? I'm now locked out of any flirt options. And if it isn't an actual side quest, why is it then marked as "Failed" for me in the journal after the major Act 1 choice?
