After a couple of hours of trying to figure it out, and minutes after posting this, I solved it. Something to do with the games autosaving features? Anywho making a save right after, then reloading back to the save should fix it :)
LIFE SAVER! I couldn't figure out why my Rook's face was wrong no matter what I did. Now I can play in peace!
