Missing bow transmogs for Rook

This started happening almost as soon as I had access to the transmog system. 

I've picked up quite a number of bows - I have all companions, to keep things spoiler free - but I can use only a few of them. Less than 10. In fact, most of them have entirely disappeared from my transmog list: they no longer exist with the lock symbol on them, they are simply gone. 

So I have about 7 useable transmogs, and maybe 5 or 6 locked ones left. The rest have turned into empty squares.

I've tried stopping and restarting the game, I've tried taking my transmogs off, exiting the menu, and then returning, but unfortunately that didn't do it. It's not the worst bug in the world - at least it isn't the armor - but it definitely ain't right! 

I'm playing on a female elf Grey Warden rogue, with custom difficulty settings, in case that helps.
