Mouse (and sometimes keyboard) randomly disconnect (PC)

Hello--really enjoying the game, big fan of BioWare single player RPGs!

I have been having an issue; at random points my mouse, and sometimes my keyboard will disconnect. This can happen once every three minutes, sometimes it will not happen for an hour or so. When it does happen, I can usually plug the mouse back in and it reconnects. Sometimes however, it gets more serious and my entire mouse and/or keyboard won't respond, even after plugging it back in.

I then have to do a hard restart on my entire computer, and then when the PC boots up I have to plug the mouse back in.

Any help would be appreciated!
