My defense stat is always 0 no matter what armor I use ps5

When i hover over my defense stat on the character menu it says I have 0 defense it displays as 67 under the symbol but my armor has more than that on just one piece and it doesn't change no matter w...

Was wondering about this myself, I have also noticed this. IIRC it was working in terms of visual increases last night, but even with 65% frost resistance I was still getting 2 shot by frost beams. I'm playing on Nightmare.
