Party Banter Not Triggering With Certain Companions

I have around 70 hours on the game and have been running Emmrich and Taash together in my party. I was doing just fine with their dialogue triggering until recently, even if I pass through areas that should trigger dialogue between the two nothing happens. I've tried verifying my files, restarting my computer, reloading old saves (which work but play dialogue I've already heard.)

Now, I'm unsure if this is a bug or if perhaps I need to play through the main quest more to open up more dialogue but I just thought it was weird because all my other companions seem to trigger banter just fine. Just wanted to know if I'm the only one running into this because I've combed through the internet and couldn't find anyone with my issue.
