Patch 2 Think My Mouse is a Controller

So in my earlier post I said that patch 2 hosed my game. It did, but I think I figured it out. I can still use my keyboard to navigate the setting menus & once I figured out how to get to the Controllers tab, I discovered that the game is looking for a game controller instead of a mouse. I think if there was some way to switch it back, I would be able to play.
