Pinnacle of its kind door closed

I've killed all the demons required for this and when I came back the wisp door was closed again with no way to open it.  If anyone knows how to open this again without having to regress saves, I would greatly appreciate it.  I'm on chapter 11 at this point, and completed every side quest that has popped up in the necropolis.
