Savegame gives "loading error" after applying game update

Doe anyone else have issues loading savegames after applying the game update yesterday? I have, I can't load a game without getting the message load error, and then get sent back to the title scree...

BTW... Even the crossroads savegames won't load
I'm going to reinstall the game and see what happens

Okay, I have made some headway on this issue. I bought a new 1 TB SSD (internal), installed and formatted it, reinstalled DA on the SSD, and I was able to load up some of the previous saves I could not before. Prior to that, I was running (or trying to) everything off an external SSD. Both SSDs have plenty of storage, and the only difference is one being internal (installed into the Motherboard), and the other external (USB-slotted). That's it. If you're having trouble on an external (and EA REALLY should specify this), that could be the crux of the issue. So far so good.
