Strand Hair causes hair to become transparent vertical lines at certain angles

This occurs fairly often in cutscenes for me. It does not happen all the time. It appears that at certain angles or certain distance from the camera, Strand Hair causes vertical lines to appear in the hair. These lines show whatever is behind the hair.

I am on PC, my nvidia drivers are up to date. Every graphics option is on ultra besides:
