The Memorial Gardens fog gate disappeared

The building in the memorial gardens in the Necropolis is missing which provides a fog door to the a chest. Simply gone. I have been there before but did not open the chest.

What can I do?

Note: i collected the codex near the chest

    If you are on a PC try to repair the game. 

    (EA app: My Collection > Click on the three dots on the game cover > Repair)  
    (Steam: Game Library > Right-click the game > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files.)
