Unable to complete "A City Blighted" -- the corpse has vanished

I have finished the fight in the city center with the "?????" darkspawn, and the quest marker to "Investigate the darkspawn corpse" has moved to 722m away, well off the map, and I can't get to the co...

I too have run into this issue. I did find a couple of unique item chests while trying to figure out how to find the corpse. So I can't complain about that.
