Update Changed Graphics Settings - Locked Me Out

I updated Windows today and now, when I go into the game, my graphics settings are changed and I am locked out of the Strand Hair setting. I was wondering if indeed it was the Windows update that caused that or if the game had an update on the back-end that is preventing me from accessing that setting now.

Will updating my GPU ensure that I can access this setting?
