About to uninstall this garbage - can't disable start on bootup

For weeks now. Every single day the launcher starts up on bootup, quietly. And in the middle of the day randomly pops up with an update about a sale! I disable the "launch on startup" option. I clo...

FYI - none of those fixed it. The launcher still randomly decides to launch itself and pop open the store. Astounded this is even possible. The EA launcher/Origin has always been awful but and it's insane to me that these kinds of issues are still around. Just abandon it and use Steam, at least their launcher and services work consistently.
