About to uninstall this garbage - can't disable start on bootup
For weeks now. Every single day the launcher starts up on bootup, quietly. And in the middle of the day randomly pops up with an update about a sale! I disable the "launch on startup" option. I close the app. I open the app back up. It's toggled on. I toggle it off. The next day, it pops back up in the middle of the day. Your storefront/launcher is bad and everyone who works on it should feel bad. I'm about to uninstall the last game I don't even really play just to get rid of this garbage piece of software. It's incredible how a company with so much money can't even have a basic, functional storefront/launcher in the year of our lord 2026. I guess things that were capable decades ago are just out of reach for today's companies.
Screw your "EA App Needs To Restart" while playing
Seriously, what MONKEYS work on design and coding of this thing? If I started EA App that's because I want to PLAY A GAME. If I am playing a game I DON'T WANT TO STOP JUST SO YOUR APP CAN RESTART. If you need to check for updates DO IT BEFORE OPENING IT AND UPDATE IT BEFORE LAUNCH LIKE STEAM DOES FOR AT LEAST A DECADE. SHEESH.
Why do I need yet another app to install more apps? No longer buying your games.
Why do I need yet another app to install more apps and another account to install the installer to activate the installer for a game. So sick of having to have an account and app for every fooking thing. Get your business in order and realize people don't want the bloat. We want streamlined service. I'm not buying anymore of your games until this goes away.i can't connect my ea account with my xbox account

Why does it have to be so hard to get some help from EA, I just want a direct conversation because sending me between https://help.ea.com/en/ and https://myaccount.ea.com/am/ui/account-information does not help at all. Restore ability to hide games in library
Since you just closed 4 year old topic suggesting restoring basic functionality (that was present in origin) here I am to create new one. Please restore ability to hide games or remove them from account. This is very important for games that are demos, betas or no longer available Why do I have to watch Bejeweled 3 every time I want to find battlefield in my library? Why do I have to watch ea sports madden nfl just because I clicked on wrong tile while I had EA Play and it was instantly added to my account? I cannot even play it, it requires me to purchase subscription again (tile is grayed out) so I really have no idea why is it even visible in my library... I want to hide all these ugly mistakes and keep my library clean. It would be plus if I could add tags or group games into custom groups but just this basic functionality of hiding games and optionally removing them from account would be great.
Bring the ability to create short cuts to desktop and other games back
Please can we have the following updates to EA App, when running games like crusader no remorse , no regret, mass effect 3 ect , then running it from the short cuts provided it tells you it needs origin installed and to go install origin again. This doesn't work as origin doesn't work , so what about the ability to create a shortcut to the desktop that runs the game the same way as running it through the ea app , just removing the loading ea app , finding the game and clicking on play . Have things available to launch on the app ,eg "Command and Conquer The Ultimate Collection Additional Content" this was on origin and worked fine , but was shown in our library , and the ability to run it . The content was totally removed from EA App, and accessing it was hard due to not been able to get into the application . Unable to load Inbox via EA Connect while in game
I have been using Origin , back in 2017, until EA App now and never faced any issues in inbox or quick messages Past the 3 Months I have this issue where everytime i try to send a Quick Message I get an error saying COULD NOT SEND MESASGE. TRY AGAIN LATER. And when I switch to Inbox it shows an error as shown in the screenshot Any solution?EA App Closing Game
I’m going to post this to as many forums as I can as I can’t get into contact with any live support person at EA. Their chat bot just runs me in circles and sends me to unrelated forums. I’ll start by saying I only play the sims and have never had this issue before. I have had my game crash but that’s always followed up by some kind of report function to report the crash. That’s not what’s happening before some EA person tries to tell me otherwise. My game has always run fine and usually if it does crash it’s from an out of date mod I have. But that’s not the case now. I have taken out every mod. My computer can run the Sims 4 no problem even with mods but without mods it always performs much better. Maybe an hour into me playing the game, the game closes. Not crashes (I feel like I have to keep stating this so people understand.) It has only started happening the last few weeks. And I’m sure it’s the app causing this. It’s fully up to date as I check for an update every time I turn my computer on. Nothing happens in game that leads me to believe it’s a crash. The app just randomly closes my game. It’s annoying. EA has gone so far downhill that they can’t even bother to pay people to help with issues like this. Instead they have an AI bot that asks what the issue is, what your email is, and what platform you’re playing on and then will send you to a random forum (it sends me to a different forum every time I’ve tried.) Then when I ask for a live agent, it just asks the same questions again even though I’ve already answered them right before. I’ve tried this logged in and logged out of my account. I’ve tried on an incognito website. The point is that EA is cheap even though they’re going to make $500 BILLION dollars. They can’t even afford live support agents. This is absurd and at this point, I want a FULL refund of my Sims game and ALL expansion packs since I can’t play it without it closing on me. I can’t even get real help from a real person. Just a chat bot that’s taking all MY drinking water and giving money to billionaires.
