Hey EA can you fix your customer support and help website?
I've been trying to unlink my EA account from my steam and XBOX IDs. Read the article, risks, and everything, and pressed the unlink button. However, when I refresh the page, the two accounts still remain linked. Is this a glitch on EA's part? I tried to unlink multiple times, which failed. The next course of action I take, make a case for it. After doing so, I use the customer service support just for the advisor to tell me to either follow the link they sent (which is just the **bleep** same unlink article that I've read multiple times already) or I should delete my account, which I don't want to considering I have a pack installed for my sims 4. I ask the advisor if there's any other way, and they said they can't do anything about it. (Mind you, this is the same support that helped me reclaim my account after it was initially compromised). After that fails, I return to my cases, and now my case got closed because there is no fix. However, I intend to resume it as I refuse to give up. I apologize for the heated post. It's just so frustrating because I feel like I've exhausted everything to try to do something as simple as unlinking accounts from my EA. I suggest EA finds a way to fix this ASAP because you cannot tell me this is how you help your community.
Restore ability to hide games in library
Since you just closed 4 year old topic suggesting restoring basic functionality (that was present in origin) here I am to create new one. Please restore ability to hide games or remove them from account. This is very important for games that are demos, betas or no longer available Why do I have to watch Bejeweled 3 every time I want to find battlefield in my library? Why do I have to watch ea sports madden nfl just because I clicked on wrong tile while I had EA Play and it was instantly added to my account? I cannot even play it, it requires me to purchase subscription again (tile is grayed out) so I really have no idea why is it even visible in my library... I want to hide all these ugly mistakes and keep my library clean. It would be plus if I could add tags or group games into custom groups but just this basic functionality of hiding games and optionally removing them from account would be great.One of the worst desktop applications I've ever seen
As a software developer, I don't remember the last time I've seen such a horrendous application. The amount of bugs I get weekly is absolutely mind blowing. I encounter new ones every week. On average, I have to restart the app at least 2-3 times before it successfully launches a game. Some days I'll try 10+ times and waste over an hour of my time to end up not even being able to play a single game. What's crazy is that it's been like this for over a year now, and not only has it not improved, it's actually gotten worse. I'm not usually the type to leave reviews, but I really had to take the time to leave this one. Seriously, what the hell is the dev team doing?Button to locate installed games
Hello, I'm opening this thread to let you know that it is incredible that in 2025 there is still no button to allow players to locate installed games like we were able to do with the Origin App. There are thousands of threads on this forum about players unable to select a folder where the game is already installed, forcing them to install the game again. I hope you will take this into consideration. Thank you.
EA app/game setup process
It might be a groundbreaking next gen idea if you folks actually put some info on setup processes of games and ea app updates itself. Like was in Windows 7 era. Details you know? Which files goes where, file names, useful progress bars. No need for simple thinking. Entire world is already simple enough Thank you!
Closing sims 4 opens the ea app - Why?
This has been bugging me in Origin too. But at least there was an option to disable this. Which didnt work properly. Now this option is gone and every time I close my game the app opens only for me to close it again because I didnt open it myself nor do I need to see it flashing on my task bar as if its important. No other launcher behaves like this! Back then when I reported this for the first time a support person said it will be relayed to the devs. But that was years ago and now I report it again. Why? Because I have OCD. Its super annoying and unnecessary to design an app that opens by itself without user permission.
