About to uninstall this garbage - can't disable start on bootup

For weeks now. Every single day the launcher starts up on bootup, quietly. And in the middle of the day randomly pops up with an update about a sale! I disable the "launch on startup" option. I clo...

Lo and behold - EABackgroundService is running despite the EA Launcher auto-launch being disabled and the service itself set to manual.

Which explains why the garbage program decides to periodically boot up after an automatic update, I assume.

So is there no way to ACTUALLY disable this nonsense?
