If you think about it, it kinda makes sense that the EA app logs you out (or displays an error) when you have lost the connection to the internet, while you were logged in. I believe that many, if not all, launchers do the same. It all depends on how long you were disconnected from the internet.
I personally think that it is due to the EA app no longer being able to refresh the online friends list (no matter if you have friends via the EA app or not), when it has lost connection to the internet. If it can't refresh the online friends list, it'll display an error/log you out.
But I do certainly understand the annoyance of this EA app behavior. Will make sure to pass it on to the teams. 🙂
Origin never logged me out, but I was always logged in as invisible. I don’t have any friends on the app… that I chat with on the app. (My Sims friends are all on Discord.)
Is there a logged in invisible setting that I’ve missed, and would that prevent me from being logged out?
Community ManagerYeah, there is a "Sign in as invisible" option. Although I am not sure if that would solve the situation, as I highly think that it is working as designed.
I did find a second location where I could "go invisible." We'll see if that helps. Thanks, @EA_Leeuw !
