EA app wont close
EA app has 3 different buttons, minimize - maximize/minimize and close
My problem is that both the minimize and close button simply minimizes the EA app and it keeps running in the background if i want to close it .😕

- @EA_Leeuw So is this issue going to be fixed, or no? My only gripe with Steam is that they don't have that feature, so here's your chance to finally do something better than them for once in two decades.
Also, Steam doesn't make my computer run like a one-legged horse because it doesn't have to upload data to the mothership constantly. It would be nice if the EA App didn't do that, but in lieu of fixing the actual problem, having the option to auto-close would be lovely. ..... but why ?
What's the design intention in breaking one button and replacing it by another we already have right next to it ?
Is it just in hopes that players wouldn't notice it didn't close ? So you could keep harvesting their data without their knowledge even when they're done playing ?
I myself wouldn't even have noticed it if not for W11 helpfully pointing it out to me.
If there is another reason for this, you should tell us instead of stonewalling us for 3 years. And if there's no reason for it, then it should be implemented asap, as per the hundreds of messages supporting this feedback in that link. It's not even the only thread about this. Without any answers, we can only assume malice.

That bad design is still in place. Your programmers apparently still haven't learned, on Windows the X in the top right is close NOT minimize.
Please fix this broken "feature"
This is responding to an old post, but the hamburger is the 3 horizontal lines at the top left. EA should fix their program so X actually closes the program instead of leaving it running when I'm down playing one of their games.
