EA App won't let you log in with ID by default, extra step required. Origin Does
In origin anyone can sign in with their EA ID (username) or alternatively their email, everything can be written in the same textbox & Origin works in the background to know if it's an username or if it's an email, similar to when you log in your Bank app & you don't have to specify if you're going to log in a personal account or a company account, it just guesses for you.
However, if you try to log in with your EA ID in the EA App it will tell you that something's wrong 'cause you have to specifically click a "hidden" option that says "log in with ID". Meaning that you are not able to log in writing either your ID / or email from the same textbox. This is not OK. Both options should be in the same textbox and users shouldn't be asked to click on one of them, this should be done internally by the launcher in order for users to have a better experience.
If it was done in Origin ages ago, it can be done again in the EA App. I always end up loosing my time writing my username & trying to log in (failing) & after that I remember that I have to click an option to specifically log in with my username. That option shouldn't' be there to begin with 'cause it was sorted out to be put in the same text box a long time ago in Origin, so the same should happen in EA App.
I said "hidden" 'cause this option it's after the big "Log in" button, so you basically 1st click Log in & after clicking it you see the option.
This has been fixed in a recent update. Thank you so much.
