EA Desktop client custom installation folder

Please give users the ability to change the directory where EA Desktop installs its main client. I'm not refering to the installation directory of the games themselves, rather the EA Desktop applica...

    Cm Edit in 2023, app has been updated and install sequence has been changed.

I found a solution that worked for me.

See, I've had EA Desktop installed to a custom location since it was in beta. I did a clean Windows install today and have come to this issue now.

As far as I can tell they've removed the option to have a custom install location and there's only an option to choose the game location. What I did was I went to the download page from back in mid-2021 thanks to waybackmachine. The page was blank but I managed to seek out the download link from using inspect element and doing a CTRL+F search for "download" until I got to it. I will paste the link below. Hoping it's not against any rules to link to it. I assume this is an old installer because it has the option to change the actual client install location. Hope this helps someone.

@PhantomLibertyy Well that doesn't work anymore. After choosing the app install location it just defaults back to the new launcher which only allows for changing the game install location.

I found my own solution though. I'll uninstall this piece of * software and stop buying games from EA.
