Windows Firewall rules

Just a quick question. I use a PUBLIC profile on my windows PC. No sharing, no remote.

I notice that the EA App/EA services, but NOT games give themselves access to ALL profiles, (Domain, Private, and Public)

I actually have for years checked the box to block ALL incoming Domain and Private connections as a security measure.

I have never had trouble with the EA App or games login etc etc  so it's not really a big deal but just curious as to why the connections are marked as ALL in the advanced firwall setting section?
