I just built a new computer with an SSD for the OS and the HDD for the games and other programs. I do NOT want this app installed on my C drive, nor any games. SSDs burn out faster if you write to them more, and saved games will run out the SSD's clock faster. I don't want to spend another couple of hundred dollars and put in another 72 hours reloading my mandatory C drive software just because someone at EA decided to put out a BUGGY BETA PRODUCT. This is as stupid as forcing SimCity to be a multiplayer-only game, or killing off Ultima in its prime.
I shouldn't need to run Origin or the EA App to install Crysis 3 or SimCity 4 Rush Hour anyway - they're both over a decade old, FFS. I'm sick of being treated like a criminal - do it our way or you get nothing, inmate! CEO Android Wilson needs to be fired and replaced with someone who actually likes gamers, doesn't treat them as his own personal wallet, and will make programs that work instead of releasing buggy crap. I've not bought anything from EA since I bought Crysis 3, and this kind of company lack of ethics is exactly why. They've killed off my favorite series, and they've made the remaining series so annoying to install that I won't bother.
I'm not installing this damned app until they fix it to where I have total control over where everything goes. No money for EA, either, not until they bring back my favorite single-player offline games and start building new single-player games. Otherwise, all your games can go the way of Anthem, for all I care. I've got tons of other games to play.
