Merry Christmas to everyone and have a happy new year 2024 (at least we hope to be).
First of all, I want to apologize for my English (not my native language).
Here are the big problems that I found and need to be fixed if EA wants us to follow the new store/launcher software
- There were missing games from my collection
- BF3 Game shows deferent key and version in EA App than the one that I always owned. In Origin it is ok.
- There was no way to make the prior hidden games to appear (hidden from origin)
- In game info product key is not visible
- No option to change installation folder (only the game folder option exists)
I contacted support via e-mail and live chat, but I strongly believe, after many messages, that no one cares and no one have knowledge to solve problems.
Note that the e-mail answers were coming from different agents while the case number was the same, without reviewing the previous questions and answers.
Only if you are lucky to reach 1% of the agents that really have experience and good will to fix issues, you will come to a solution.
Just tragic!!
Because of all the above, programmers create patches and fixes in order to continue use Origin instead of EA App.
Please, all of you who work or help EA, try to find the find a way to fix the problems of this awful application, and stop doing annoying/stupid questions or recommendation to login with the same account etc. I have one and only account for all the games, and a lot experience to IT section. Respect all the people who spent their money, that earned working hard, to purchase your digital products.

I appreciate your post.
Most of the points you've made seem to pertain to feedback for the EA app rather than actual technical problems that need fixing.
This includes suggestions such as the ability to change the installation folder for the EA app, being able to view a key for a specific game (though it's worth noting this was also not always available for games on Origin, only certain ones), the option to hide games, and the observation that the game tile of BF3 appears different in the EA app compared to Origin, despite being the same version. These feedback points are already topics of discussion on this forum and can be located using the search feature here. You're welcome to join these discussions.
In its early stages, the EA app didn't offer all EA games that were accessible on Origin, which is why Origin for Windows remained in use until all EA games were moved to the EA app. There was also a message/warning in the EA app that mentioned this.
Regrettably, there can be instances where specific games or DLCs vanish from the EA app library, as per some reports. This is often due to logging into the incorrect EA account on the EA app. However, we are currently monitoring and investigating two threads related to this issue, and I will provide the links below.
