I have the app disabled from start-up on task manager and thru the EA app, yet it still opens. I will FORCE quit the app and it will suddenly open back up and minimize the game I'm actively playing. How do I make this stop???

Just to confirm, have you disabled launch at start-up in Windows Startup Settings and 'Restart App' under Sign-in Options in Settings?
If you haven't already, please also go to press Windows + R > services.msc > EA Background Services > Startup type to Manual. And disable EA App notifications under Settings > Applications > Notifications > toggle off Sales and Promotions.

yup all of it is off. It will just decide to open and minimize a game that is not being played through the EA app and demand a restart of the app or an update.
