I came to the forums for this exact reason:
'In regards to the EA app popping back up in the foreground once you close an EA game or finish your play session and close the game, this is also by design. '
Who chose for this to be? It's annoying and NOT necessary. Just leave it minimized after closing a game like all the others.
If I want to play another game, I'll launch the app myself and if I want to close it, I'll close it.

(both X not closing the app as it should, and the app putting itself in the foreground against the user's wishes).
Resolved doesn't mean telling people "that's how we want it" resolved means fixing it so that it stops violating how users want THEIR computers to function.
