Let us choose between EA App and Origin Launcher
As the title says, please, if you are not going to fix your app and pay attention to our concerns, then let us continue using Origin until these issues are addressed.
I don't care if we have to reinstall it only to switch again a week later, so long as the app is fixed in that time. There is no reason that we shouldn't be able to play games we have paid for up until that point. The EA App is lacking essential features, is riddled with bugs and errors, and in my case, is preventing me from playing more than half of the games in my library.
The EA App needs -
The option to disable cloud sync
The ability to easily gift games and add-on content to friends
Improved load and download speeds
To close the background software when the app is closed
To eliminate crashes and errors preventing people from playing their games
& more that I'm sure I'm forgetting right now ...
Until these are fixed, why are we being forced to use the app? Though, I'm fairly certain I know the answer to that too. Just like how you have a volunteer playtesting program, you want your players to test your software and games for FREE, because you don't want to hire people to do proper quality assurance. Why do that when you can force new software on your players and get feedback that way? Well, here it is. We're giving you feedback, and yet nothing has changed in months. Take the feedback that you've gotten for free and do something with it.
