I only mentioned mods @jdbassjr as you said they no longer work. If seeing issues with mods we recommend removing all and trying the game again.
Do you own multiple copies of the game on multiple platforms?

Mass Effect Andromeda
I have a EA version "Standard" and Steam version "Deluxe".
This makes the two versions incompatible if you want to run the same saves so I bought the missing parts for the Origin version to make it "Deluxe." This worked well and I could use either version to run the game and either could use the last save game. By the way on Origin I could run either version, Steam or Origin. It did not matter if they were Standard or Deluxe. But, if you wanted to use the same save I had to make the Origin version Deluxe. Hence, why I upgraded the Origin version.
When they converted the Origin version of Andromeda over to EA version of Andromeda was listed as "Standard."
On EA the Steam version will not run. It is how the two games interact now. EA is treating the Steam version of Andromeda "Deluxe" as a different version from what is on EA "Standard" and blocking it from running. In my opinion.
There is a simple solution to this problem and it is to allow the Steam version to install on EA and I could uninstall the EA version I am currently using. But, for some reason it will not install and EA is treating the versions differently when it should not be doing that so Steam version of Andromeda cannot run.
Mods are a different story. I have managed to fix those for Mass Effect Legendary Edition.
