- @EA_Leeuw This is still an issue. My sub expired, and I am not able to uninstall the games via the EA app.
Yeah over a year and nothing fixed forceing people with less Tech smarts to try and unintall themselfs or pay for another month just to free up space EA proving it does not care yet again.
Please if anyone is haveing this issue dont pay more or wait for EA to do anything
search on your computer Control panal than add or remove software than the game you want to remove you can also search youtube on how to remove it for a video. It's 2024 and this is still an issue. I was forced to use the "Apps and Features" setting in Windows 10 to uninstall the games. This really should be allowed from the EA app, because not everyone will know they can uninstall them from Windows settings, or the control panel.

Good point/feedback. I hadn't realized this was still the case as haven't uninstalled a game for ages. But I fully agree with you. Should be available to do this from the app, absolutely.
Fix this!!!

Yesterday I tried this for my self. Here is what happened:
3 games which I uninstalled were done successfully through the app.
1 small game which I haven't launched led me to windows unistall page.
So, it is now possible, in most cases entirely through the app.
The game "Bejeweled which I bought very cheaply on a wim, never launched or played
had to be uninstalled via windows (the app linked directly). I ended up not uninstalling it as
it takes up barely no space and it was just a test.
The other three successful, fully within app uninstalls were big games. The way to do it was easy.
In game library click the three dots on game icon. From there you can verify files and the option to UNINSTALL is there.
As said already it worked fine for three games. I needed to free up space so it functioned as a spring clean, but I did it due to
this thread.
That's my experience. Make of it what you will. I summary, games CAN be uninstalled entirely through the app only.
With the caveat that some games may send you windows programs list where it can be installed via windows. One extra click.
Curious to know if it works or not for others. Can only speculate as to why one of them linked to windows (Windows 10) but I have
no idea really so will leave it at that.
It works.

For EA_Leewu
Thank you. From my experience yesterday this has now indeed been fixed.
Took a while, but you passing it on got someones attention. Thanks again

This 100% has not been fixed, the guy above completely ignored the context. You STILL cannot uninstall games you installed with EA Play that you do not own once your subscription has expired. Its an utter embarrassment that something like this would still exist in a billion dollar company's game launcher YEARS after launch.

Thanks EA_Leewu,
The way I use the App it is indeed working perfectly now.
It's not really any of my business but seems a few issues in EA Play? I would not know as I alway purchase.
Any how. All is good in my case. Cheers
BTW off topic but I couldn't "like," your post. Some others too. Others work 90% approx . I guess it's just because of the new forum,
but I do like to "like," posts which I, ahh like. 😃

I have the same problem and dont know what to do, because i need to free up some space

Yeah, you were right to point that out. I have never used EA play, so wouldn't know.
All I can say is that for PURCHASED games, it works. Usually in the app, if not it opens the windows programs and features, uninstall a program menu in the Settings app.
Finally, I am using Windows 10.
Next time I'll read the thread title properly. Sorry about this.

The solution that I came up with was going to "App & features" that is available in the windows settings and searched for the game there.
