Forum Discussion

@STG_Mordin To this day I can still use ONLY Origin for games that still interest me. I don't know if it works for everyone else. This is enough for me. I only need Origin to launch games, I've never needed it for anything else. I make friends in person, in forums and servers and I keep contacts with Discord. Anything else doesn't interest me. I didn't care before with "only" Origin, and least of all with this new "App" that doesn't even work. I continue to use Origin "ONLY" to launch my games, I have never used it for anything else and I will never be interested in anything else. I hope it lasts as long as possible. And for the next few games that interest me, I will think many times before buying an EA game. Maybe... maybe... only if I can launch it from Steam (which isn't perfect, but better than the EA App).
I had already seen it at the time of Battlefield 2, how EA support was, and I started to despise them that time (with the new versions of BF they no longer helped to close the "stat-padding" servers) and after so many years, I see which is always worse. These big companies should be shut down and banned. The bigger they are, the more they bully users.

@RacingGunCleanerFor me overlay has been working in Origin and even EA App works for me to launch the games. The problem is that it is slow and bloated and that under GDPR law in EU isn't even legal to collect data and track you without acquiring informed consent of the user BEFOREHAND.

EA App just collects telemetry and tracks you without even asking and allowing opt-out. It's just plain illegal.
