Re: Starting sims opens the app too

You misunderstand. Opening, not starting the app. The app is already running, in tray.

I start the game and the app opens simultaneously. Steam doesnt do that. Battle.net app doesnt do that. Epic games launcher doesnt do that. Origin does. Origin even does it when I close games. And yes, I disabled this in origin. I reported this too. This new app doesnt open after closing a game. Yet.

Its like the trunk on my car opens every time I turn of the engine. Or when I start it. Even though I locked it. It would annoy you too, right?

Do you mean that even when the EA app is running in the background when you launch your game, Windows maximizes the EA app and puts it into focus before launching your game?

Does this mean that instead of the game that you launched being in focus you see the EA app instead and you have to switch windows to be able to play your game?

I launch the app, hit the close button, it vanishes into tray, I hit the shortcut on my desktop for a game (usually sims 4), the app comes up, the game starts. It doesnt put the app in focus, I can play.

As a user with two screens its annoying when the game starts on one screen and the app opens on another and I have to close the app every time because it opens for no reason.
