I do not typically like to glom onto wide-net negative feedback threads....... BUT.
EA has demonstrated its inability to produce and maintain a competent launcher product repeatedly. Being held hostage by a flawed launcher because EA has a robust game library has always been infuriating, but even more so when they finally got Origin to a stable place (after literally years)... only to replace it with the buggy nightmare we now have to use.
EA: it's time for some introspection. I will never play in the NFL, and you will never create a competent desktop app.

And even if the app was fixed tomorrow, would you trust EA anymore? Not me. They could easily muck up the EA App even worse next year. As long as they insist on holding their games hostage because a pointless launcher, I'm done giving them my money.
I JUST WANT ACCESS TO THE GAMES I PAID MONEY FOR!!
