Decades on, and the EA Launcher still prevents you from playing the game you "own".
In which world is it acceptable to throw a random cmdline update window at the user and fail miserably at it? We're not getting paid here, we paid you.

PS: No, restarting the app didn't "do the trick". For the love God, figure things out. If it worked yesterday, it should work today, implement some fallback.
PPS: But at least I earned a "the Newbie badge on Answer HQ", so I have that going for me.
