Steam users need to be able to play in offline mode/without internet too

I could play in offline mode or without internet with Origin, now I can't with the EA App. Every time I try to ask for assistance, I'm told to put the EA App into offline mode first. This does not work for Steam users. As soon as Steam is in offline mode or doesn't have internet connection, the EA App seems to stop even trying to launch the game. Even if everything went into offline mode before internet connection was lost. And even if I still HAVE internet connection and am just trying to prepare.

Using the EA App in offline mode is marked as "solved" everywhere else and it's completely unfair for Steam users to lose offline mode functionality when we had it before (with Origin) and when EA App users have it, however buggy it may be. So please, fix it for Steam users.
