WHERE is the Cloud Save toggle??
So, my power went out. It happens, no big deal. I wasn't actually playing Inquisition, but the Sims 4. So I start my PC up and play the Sims a little bit more afterwards, then Switch over to DAI, and all my saves are gone! Local *AND* Cloud! All my characters just poofed with no explanation! Great! Literally just wiped hundreds of hours because, for some completely inane reason, no one at EA had the foresight to let the people who pay them money to play their games, *disable* the cloud save function? Huh?! It's been a least a year since the EA App was released, and no "disable cloud uploading" in sight! Lovely!
You're probably saying "Hey, just play offline". I also thought of this! BUT! It's not *actually* a true offline mode, as the app constantly pings the servers in the background for some reason! Also that "unable to connect to servers" is smack dab at the top of the app window? Why? Guys, it's an offline mode??? Hello??
Even worse? The game (Dragon Age Inquisition) has forcibly kicked me out of the freaking game, mid-combat, because of a "problem" that is not explained. Even in offline mode. It's literally a prompt basically saying to restart the game/app. What's going on here? This EA App is still barebones, and bad, after like a year of it being released. It seems like hyperbole, but the old Origin app was a hundred times better than the experience with this EA App. What was the point of this new app if it's a worse experience?? This sucks so much.
