Why won't EA App stay logged in

One of my biggest beefs with Origin, and why I rebought some games on Steam (other than not wanting to have tons of different launchers for each game) was that no matter what I did I could never get it to stay logged in on my PC, this is EXTREMELY annoying, at least Origin would remember my username, I don't want to have to type in my username and password every time I want to open this program, I thought turning 2FA on would help but same problem, what do I need to do to get it to actually truly remember me.
