Automatic Update not working

Update - it stated that the update was ready (approximately 32 hours after it was released) so I manually selected this. It failed a couple of times and needed the app to restart. Finally downloaded but while it says download complete I cannot press play as it still says it's downloading. On the download screen the red bar is going round and round and you are unable to cancel or pause the download. Restarting the app doesn't fix this.
