Black Screen on Launch of BF2042 since 0900 UTC (18-November-2021)

@ProStar-Ghost Same for me, fine before the update and now black screen every single time I try to launch. EA games manager.

If you updated your video drivers before seeing this issue, reverting to the previous drivers is advised, thanks.

@EA_Barry I have not updated my drivers in between the 2042 update. Installing Origin and repairing the install has worked.

Same issue it launches into a permanent black screen after installing latest patch, was working fine yesterday.

    @EA_Jason i changed steam and origin destination driver for other m2 and it's worked

I am having the same problem. The game was running fine until the update this morning. I get the black screen too. Very frustrating.
I did what you asked. Still the same problem.

  same here tested everything still not working, This is on EA side to fix..

Reverted to previous drivers and did not help. Restarted my pc as well after reverting and still nothing. Went ahead and reinstalled the latest driver and I guess I’ll just wait until it’s resolved.
