Booting up any Battlefield game mutes headphones until I close it.

Every time I boot up Battlefield 4/1 it mutes my headphone on all apps on the computer (music, youtube, etc) until I close the game. I know a way to fix it, but it only works with wired headphones and I only really use wireless. If I switch from my headphones to my speaker it works fine but it just doesn't play any audio through my headphones except for "Hands-Free AG Audio" which is for calls and sounds like the dying calls of a speaker set that's been playing bassy songs since the '70s.

SPECS:

Nvidia GTX 1500 notebook

Intel Core i5-7300HQ @ 2.50GHz

1tb ssd

8gb ram

Hey @LawlessOffice sounds like you're running into a system issue, testing this right now and not able to recreate it.

Have you ensured that you have disabled handsfree telephony from within Windows?

    Try this:

Open Control Panel/Hardware and Sound/Devices and Printers

    Find your headset

Select Properties and go to Services

    Uncheck  “Handsfree Telephony”

    Test game

    Darko

  • This worked for an issue where in multiplayer and some single player games within PVZGW2 you couldn't hear anything on PC when you were in the game, thank you.
