Can't reedem a gift card!

First of all, there are only two payment options available in Azerbaijan for some reason — EA Gift Card or PayPal. PayPal doesn’t work in Azerbaijan, and there are no official EA Gift Card retailers here either.

Because of that, I purchased a Global EA Gift Card from G2A, which is supposed to work in every country, including Azerbaijan. However, when I tried to redeem it in the EA App, the code wasn’t accepted. Then I tried to redeem it through EA’s official redeem website, and it said:
"You can only redeem this card in the country where your first EA Cash Card was redeemed."

I used to live in Turkey, but I moved back to Azerbaijan about 7 years ago. Even after that, I was still able to buy games and content from Origin (the old EA launcher) without any problems.

To double-check, I even asked my brother (who currently lives in Turkey) to log into my account and try redeeming the card there — and he got the exact same message.

Now, I could understand if I had previously activated a cash card in a different country and that caused the issue — but I never redeemed any EA or Origin cash cards before, anywhere. This is my first one, and it still refuses to work.

This situation is extremely frustrating, especially for players in regions like mine where payment options are already very limited.
