Can't set install location for EA Play games

It defaults to the C: Drive, but won't let me change it to any other. Just a blank window with the option to "select folder" but no alternatives.

    I created a new folder on my D:\ drive called "EA Games", then I boot op EA Desktop, select the game that I want to download and then select D:\EA Games to download games in. 

    If you're having issues with setting a custom location for your games, then this might be a good way to go about it.

 so for everyone having this issue, the simple fix is going into the file location of your ea app, there should be an app called APP recovery, make sure you are closed out of the EA APP run it (APP Recovery) and reopen the EA APP, it should let you pick where you want to install it.
