Double Conversion for Ukrainians
I purchased the Laundry day pack today with UAH without any issues. But when I tried to purchase Cottage Living or Seasons, the bank declined the payment because of the double conversion. The price for the Laundry pack was the same in the EA app and in the payment. However, for extensions, the system tried to charge me more than stated in the EA app and it required me to turn on the double convertion which means they tried to charge me in a different currency, not UAH. Why I can pay for a stuff pack in UAH, but I'm unable to pay for an extension in the same currency?
- @1ibtnfvvegef That seems extremely frustrating, however, it might be a question your bank would be better equipped to explain than anyone on this forum (who are mostly other simmers or EA community managers who may not have access to info like this). If your bank is unhelpful, or says they need more information from EA, then this issue might need more advanced support from EA: https://help.ea.com/en/help-home/
